LIGHT HORSEMAN DELIVERS
GALLIPOLI SANDS TO QUEENSLAND
A mounted rider dressed as a World War One Light
Horseman will deliver the 2005 Sands of Gallipoli collection to
the
RSL (QLD Branch) at one of the State's oldest schools
Wearing spurs and slouch hat, the Horseman will
hand over the collection to the RSL State President

The Light Horseman will also perform horse drills
for the students at Toowong State School which celebrates its
125th birthday this year. Former students died in the 1914 - 1918
War.
The 2005 Sands of Gallipoli collection consists
of memorabilia containing authentic sand from ANZAC Cove and commemorates
the 90th Anniversary of the Gallipoli Landings. A percentage of
all sales will support the RSL's ongoing welfare work in the veteran
community.
